Inktober

2020

For Inktober 2020, I embarked on a personal project to create a new ink illustration every day for 30 days. Using only black and white inks, with occasional subtle colour highlights, I embraced Inktober’s theme while challenging myself to draw daily. Inspired by artist Skottie Young, I tackled each prompt with an open mind, using micron pens, a Kuretake brush pen, and Copic markers on 200gsm Bristol board. This project became a period of growth, as the consistency of drawing every day led to noticeable progress. The collection holds pieces I’m especially proud of, capturing both the skill-building and creative exploration that came from this unique journey.
