Night Light

2010

For Steven’s art exhibition, I was entrusted with the creation of a 16-page catalogue that would allow his artwork to shine without unnecessary distractions. The design brief called for simplicity, elegance, and restraint to ensure that the focus remained firmly on the art itself. Every detail, from the layout to the colour scheme and logo, was carefully selected to complement the artwork without overpowering it. The result is a beautifully understated catalogue where subtle design choices, such as muted tones and minimal embellishments, let Steven’s pieces speak for themselves. The project not only captured the essence of his work but also resonated with my passion for creating designs that balance aesthetic appeal with functionality. This was one of those rare opportunities where everything came together perfectly, and I still look back on it as a testament to the enduring power of clean, thoughtful design.
